Job Role :Ambulance Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients, medical personnel, and equipment to and from medical facilities or accident sites. This role requires adherence to traffic laws, hospital protocols, and emergency procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Operate hospital ambulances safely and efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and transport patients to the hospital or other medical facilities.
  • Assist paramedics and healthcare staff in loading and unloading patients, including those requiring stretchers or medical support.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, patient information, and ambulance usage.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the ambulance to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness.
  • Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
  • Follow hospital policies, emergency protocols, and traffic regulations at all times.
  • Provide basic patient care support when necessary, under the guidance of medical staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training for emergency response, first aid, and safety procedures.
