Art Teacher
Job Role : Art Teacher is responsible for nurturing the artistic abilities and creativity of students by teaching various visual art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. This role involves planning engaging lessons, guiding students in their projects, and encouraging self-expression and imagination. The Art Teacher also organizes exhibitions, workshops, and competitions to showcase students’ work, fostering appreciation for art and culture. Additionally, they create a safe and inspiring environment, maintain art materials and resources, and collaborate with other faculty to integrate art into the broader curriculum.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct art classes for students across all grades.
- Teach various art techniques including drawing, painting, sketching, and craftwork.
- Plan and organize art projects, exhibitions, and workshops. Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression in students.
- Assess and provide feedback on student artworks. Maintain art materials, tools, and classroom safety.
- Collaborate with other teachers for cross-curricular activities.
- Motivate students to participate in art competitions and school events.
- Keep records of student progress, achievements, and attendance.
