Assistant Engineer – Sugarcane Industry
Job Role : Assistant Engineer – Sugarcane Industry is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and efficient functioning of sugarcane processing and sugar manufacturing equipment. The role involves assisting senior engineers in monitoring plant performance, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards, coordinating with production and maintenance teams, maintaining records, and supporting process improvements to achieve smooth and continuous plant operations, especially during the crushing season.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in day-to-day operation of sugarcane crushing and processing units.
- Monitor plant machinery and report operational issues.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
- Maintain production, maintenance, and shift records.
- Assist in plant startup, shutdown, and seasonal operations.
- Support implementation of process improvements and efficiency measures.
- Supervise shop-floor activities and contract labor when assigned
