Job Role :  Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha is a senior leadership role responsible for supporting the General Manager in leading the bank’s operations, strategic planning, financial performance, compliance, and member services. This role involves overseeing multiple departments, ensuring efficient banking services to society members, helping implement policies, and driving business growth through customer-centric and regulatory-aligned operations.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Oversee and coordinate daily banking operations across all departments.
  • Assist in implementing strategic plans to improve profitability and growth.
  • Monitor deposit mobilization and loan portfolio performance.
  • Supervise credit appraisal, loan sanctioning, and recovery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with cooperative society laws and banking regulations.
  • Review financial statements and monitor budgetary controls.
  • Strengthen internal control systems and risk management practices.
  • Address member grievances and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Supervise staff performance, training, and discipline.
  • Prepare management reports and present updates to the Board of Directors.
  • Support digital banking initiatives and system improvements.
  • Represent the institution in regulatory and stakeholder meetings.
