Assistant Professor (BCA )
Job Role : Assistant Professor in the BCA department is responsible for teaching undergraduate students in computer science and information technology subjects. The role includes delivering lectures, conducting practical lab sessions, guiding student projects, and supporting academic research activities. The Assistant Professor ensures curriculum delivery as per university norms and regulatory guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Key Responsibilities :
- Teach core BCA subjects such as Programming, Data Structures, DBMS, and Networking.
- Conduct practical lab sessions in programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, etc.).
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and assignments.
- Guide students in academic projects and internships.
- Conduct internal assessments, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain attendance and academic performance records.
- Participate in curriculum planning and syllabus updates.
- Organize seminars, workshops, and technical events.
- Mentor students for placements and career development.
- Assist in research activities and publications.
- Support accreditation and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.
- Encourage innovation, coding practices, and project-based learning.
- Ensure discipline and academic integrity in classrooms and labs.
