Job Role : Assistant Teacher supports the Lead/Class Teacher in delivering lessons, managing the classroom, and providing academic and emotional support to students to ensure an effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the class teacher in lesson planning and classroom activities
- Support students with learning, assignments, and classroom tasks
- Help maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment
- Supervise students during class, breaks, and school activities
- Assist in preparing teaching aids and learning materials
- Help evaluate student work and maintain records
- Provide individual attention to students who need extra support
- Communicate student progress to the class teacher
- Support school events, exams, and extracurricular activities
