Job Role :  Assistant Teacher in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at the junior college level is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum. The role involves teaching theoretical concepts and practical applications, preparing lesson plans, conducting laboratory sessions (for Physics and Chemistry), assessing student performance, and fostering analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the junior college curriculum.
  • Teach core concepts in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry using effective teaching methodologies.
  • Conduct practical laboratory sessions for Physics and Chemistry safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and question papers.
  • Evaluate and grade students’ classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Provide extra support or remedial classes for students who need additional help.
  • Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
  • Integrate technology and digital tools into teaching where applicable.
  • Prepare students for board exams and competitive entrance exams.
  • Participate in academic meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and college events.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and assessment data.
