Associate Professor
Job Role : Associate Professor of Nursing is a senior academic responsible for teaching, mentoring, supervising clinical practice, conducting and guiding research, and contributing to curriculum development and academic leadership within the institution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students as per the curriculum
- Prepare lectures, lesson plans, and teaching-learning materials
- Supervise clinical practice, laboratory sessions, and skill development
- Guide student research projects, dissertations, and publications
- Conduct and lead research initiatives in nursing and allied fields
- Participate in curriculum planning, evaluation, and academic development
- Mentor junior faculty and support their professional development
- Conduct assessments, internal evaluations, and examinations
- Contribute to departmental and institutional administration, committees, and accreditation activities
- Stay updated with advancements in nursing education, practice, and research
