Job Role : Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing and managing project bills, verifying quantities, and ensuring accurate cost estimation and payment processing. They work closely with site engineers, contractors, and clients to track work progress, prepare running account (RA) bills, and ensure all billing complies with contract terms. The role requires strong attention to detail to maintain financial accuracy and support smooth cash flow throughout the project lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Prepare and submit running account (RA) bills and final bills
  • Verify on-site measurements and quantities of work executed
  • Coordinate with site engineers for daily work progress data
  • Maintain records of bills, invoices, and payment status
  • Ensure billing aligns with contract terms and BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
  • Check subcontractor bills and process payments
  • Track project costs and assist in cost control
  • Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings
  • Assist in variation orders and extra item billing
  • Follow up with clients for bill approvals and payments
  • Reconcile material usage with billed quantities
  • Prepare detailed billing reports and documentation
  • Support audits by maintaining proper billing records
  • Ensure accuracy in rate analysis and calculations
