Job Role  :  Branch Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of a bank branch, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business and financial targets. The role involves leading branch staff, managing customer relationships, overseeing banking operations, and driving business growth. 

Key Responsibilities  :

  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, including deposits, loans, remittances, and other banking services.
  • Ensure compliance with RBI, NABARD, and co-operative banking regulations, as well as internal policies.
  • Achieve business targets related to deposits, advances, recovery, and profitability.
  • Manage and supervise branch staff, including training, performance appraisal, and motivation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, local businesses, and community stakeholders.
  • Monitor branch cash management, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of branch performance, financial statements, and regulatory submissions.
