Business Development Officer

Job Role :   Business Development Officer is responsible for expanding the bank’s business by mobilizing deposits, promoting loan products, increasing membership, and strengthening relationships with existing and potential members. The role focuses on growth of the cooperative through community engagement, marketing initiatives, and achievement of business targets while ensuring compliance with cooperative banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities :
Promote deposit schemes, loan products, and banking services
Mobilize new members and increase customer base of the society
Achieve assigned targets for deposits, advances, and membership
Identify credit requirements of members and generate loan leads
Assist in loan processing and documentation as per bank policies
Build and maintain strong relationships with members and local communities
Conduct field visits, campaigns, and awareness programs
Coordinate with branch staff for smooth service delivery
Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve basic service issues
Maintain records of leads, business generated, and follow-ups
Support recovery efforts by coordinating with members
Ensure activities comply with cooperative banking rules and bylaws
