Job Role : Clerk in a CBSE school is responsible for managing administrative and clerical tasks in accordance with the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education. The clerk supports the school administration by maintaining records, handling documentation, assisting with admissions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and effective coordination with teachers, students, parents, and management to maintain proper documentation and compliance with CBSE norms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update student records, admission files, and staff records.
- Handle correspondence, emails, and official documentation.
- Assist in the admission process and maintain related documentation.
- Prepare reports, letters, certificates, and other official documents.
- Maintain fee records and coordinate with the accounts department.
- Manage attendance records of students and staff.
- Support in organizing examinations and maintaining exam-related records.
- Ensure proper filing and safe custody of important documents.
- Assist the Principal and administrative staff in daily office work.
- Maintain registers as required by CBSE guidelines.
- Handle phone calls and respond to parent inquiries professionally.
