Crane Operator
Job Role : Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment at construction sites, warehouses, or industrial facilities. The role ensures efficient and safe handling of heavy loads while following safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials or equipment
- Inspect crane equipment before and after operation to ensure safety
- Follow load charts and rigging guidelines to prevent accidents
- Coordinate with ground personnel and signalmen for precise operations
- Maintain records of crane operations, maintenance, and inspections
- Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies
- Perform minor maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Assist in planning and organizing lifting operations on-site
- Ensure safe storage and handling of materials during lifting
