Job Role :  Customer Care Officer in a jewellery shop plays a vital role in delivering a premium and personalized customer experience. This position focuses on handling customer interactions at every stage of the buying journey, from initial inquiries to post-purchase support. The officer is responsible for understanding customer needs, guiding them with accurate information about jewellery products, services, and policies, and ensuring their concerns are addressed efficiently. They act as a bridge between customers and the sales team, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Welcome customers and create a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Handle customer inquiries through in-store interaction, phone calls, and online platforms.
  • Provide clear and accurate information about jewellery products, pricing, and services.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Coordinate with sales staff to ensure smooth customer service.
  • Manage after-sales services like repairs, resizing, polishing, and maintenance.
  • Track service requests and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Maintain detailed customer records and transaction history.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers for feedback and satisfaction.
  • Assist customers with exchange, return, and refund processes as per policy.
  • Ensure all customer interactions reflect the brand’s values and professionalism.
  • Inform customers about ongoing offers, schemes, and new collections.
  • Support in handling high-value customers (VIP clients) with special attention.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and transaction details.
  • Help improve customer service processes through feedback and suggestions.
  • Ensure coordination with inventory and workshop teams for service requests.
  • Manage waiting customers and ensure minimal service delays.
  • Promote customer loyalty programs and memberships.
