Delivery Boy
Job Role : Delivery Boy in an Electronic Goods company is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of electronic products to customers, retailers, and service locations. This role involves careful handling of fragile and high-value items, verifying delivery documents, coordinating with the warehouse and customers, and ensuring a professional and courteous delivery experience while following company policies.
Key Responibilities :
- Deliver electronic goods safely to customers and business locations
- Load, unload, and handle electronic items carefully to prevent damage
- Check products, invoices, and delivery challans before delivery
- Collect customer signatures as proof of delivery
- Handle cash-on-delivery (COD) payments when required
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
- Ensure safe handling of fragile and high-value electronic products
- Assist in packing and labeling goods before dispatch
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items immediately
- Support return pickups and replacement deliveries
- Maintain delivery records and daily logs
- Follow traffic rules and company safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and basic care of delivery vehicle
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery time
- Coordinate with warehouse and sales staff
