Design Engineer
Job Role : Design Engineer is responsible for transforming concepts and technical requirements into detailed, functional engineering designs. The role involves creating and maintaining 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software, performing design calculations and analyses, and selecting appropriate materials and manufacturing processes. A Design Engineer ensures that all designs meet performance, safety, quality, and regulatory standards while supporting prototype development, testing, and validation
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and design components, products, or systems based on project requirements and specifications
- Create detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using CAD software
- Perform design calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure performance, safety, and reliability
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure designs are producible and meet standards
- Review and refine designs based on testing results, feedback, and engineering reviews
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company design guidelines
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities
- Identify opportunities for design improvement, cost reduction, and performance optimization
