Driver (Light Motor Vehicle – Transport)
Job Role : Driver (Light Motor Vehicle – Transport) is responsible for safely operating light commercial or transport vehicles to carry goods or passengers as assigned. The driver ensures timely delivery, follows traffic laws, maintains vehicle cleanliness, and performs basic vehicle inspections. The role requires responsible driving behavior, punctuality, and adherence to company and road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safely operate LMV transport vehicles as per assigned routes
- Transport goods, materials, or passengers safely and on time
- Follow all traffic rules and road safety regulations
- Perform daily vehicle inspection before and after trips
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper condition
- Report mechanical issues or damages immediately
- Maintain trip logs and fuel records
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials (if required)
- Assist in basic vehicle maintenance coordination
- Follow company policies and transport guidelines
- Ensure valid vehicle documents are always available
- Maintain professional and polite behavior with clients and staff
