Electrical Engineer – Sugar Factory
Job Role : The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in the sugar factory. The role involves ensuring uninterrupted power supply, safe operation of electrical installations, and preventive maintenance during crushing and off-season periods.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise and maintain electrical systems in the mill house, boiling house, turbine section, and co-generation plant.
*Ensure proper functioning of motors, panels, transformers, and switchgear.
*Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
*Prepare maintenance schedules and maintain logbooks, reports, and breakdown records.
*Troubleshoot electrical faults during crushing season to minimize downtime.
*Monitor and manage power distribution and load balancing across departments.
*Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams for smooth operations.
*Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, factory act, and energy audit requirements.
