Electrician – Sugar Factory
Job Role : The Electrician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment in the sugar factory. This includes power distribution systems, motors, control panels, lighting, and wiring across various sections such as the mill house, boiling house, turbine section, and co-generation plant.
Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, starters, panels, and equipment. Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems during crushing and off-season periods. Operate and maintain HT/LT switchgear, MCC, PCC, and distribution panels. Check and ensure safe and efficient operation of motors, transformers, and generators. Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick restoration of power supply. Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment. Maintain logbooks, maintenance reports, and fault records.
