Job Role :  English Teacher in an English medium school is responsible for developing students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English, while fostering a positive learning environment and promoting language proficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the curriculum
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and oral communication
• Encourage students’ critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects
• Maintain classroom discipline and a supportive learning environment
• Plan and conduct extra-curricular activities like debates, elocution, and storytelling
• Provide guidance and support to students to improve language proficiency
• Collaborate with other teachers and participate in staff meetings and school events
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and performance reports
• Keep updated with teaching methodologies and educational resources
