Job Role :  English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature, improving students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. The role includes lesson planning, classroom management, and supporting students’ overall academic and language development.

Key Responsibilities :  

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons according to curriculum guidelines
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking skills
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and literary appreciation among students
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and class participation
• Identify students’ learning gaps and provide remedial support as needed
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment
• Foster a love for reading, literature, and effective communication
• Maintain student attendance, academic records, and report cards
• Communicate student progress with parents and school authorities
• Participate in staff meetings, teacher trainings, and school events
• Support school activities such as debates, elocution, or literary events
