Job Role : General Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the overall operations, financial performance, and strategic growth of the bank. The role includes ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining financial stability, supervising branch operations, and promoting member-focused banking services. The General Manager works closely with the Board of Directors to implement policies, achieve business targets, manage risks, and strengthen the bank’s reputation within the community while ensuring transparency and accountability

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the bank’s objectives.
  • Oversee daily banking operations and branch performance.
  • Ensure compliance with cooperative society and banking regulations.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and profitability.
  • Supervise and guide department heads and branch managers.
  • Implement risk management and internal control systems.
  • Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and government authorities.
  • Approve loans and oversee credit management policies.
  • Strengthen member relations and customer service standards.
  • Present financial and operational reports to the Board of Directors.
