JCB Driver
Job Role : JCB Operator/Driver is responsible for operating the JCB and other construction machinery efficiently and safely at construction sites. The role involves executing excavation, loading, and material handling tasks as per project requirements while ensuring equipment safety, proper maintenance, and adherence to site safety guidelines. The operator works closely with site engineers and supervisors to support timely project progress.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate JCB/excavator for digging, loading, and material handling
- Follow site instructions and execute work according to project plans
- Conduct pre-operation checks on the machine for fuel, oil, and mechanical issues
- Ensure proper operation and handling to prevent damage to equipment and materials
- Assist in site preparation, trenching, backfilling, and leveling works
- Coordinate with site supervisor and other operators for efficient workflow
- Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times
- Report any breakdowns, damages, or accidents immediately
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine
- Ensure compliance with site safety rules and traffic regulations on site
