Job Role : Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital canteen kitchen, ensuring safe, hygienic, and efficient food preparation. This role focuses on delivering nutritious, high-quality meals that meet hospital dietary standards while managing kitchen staff, supplies, and compliance with health regulations.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure timely and high-quality meal service
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and hospital regulations
  • Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff efficiently
  • Plan and implement menus meeting hospital dietary and nutritional standards
  • Coordinate preparation of special and therapeutic diets as required
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste
  • Control food and labor costs within budget guidelines
  • Ensure proper use, cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate with hospital administration
