Lathe Machine Operator cum Welder
Job Role :Lathe Machine Operator cum Welder is responsible for operating lathe machines and performing welding work to repair, fabricate, and modify automobile parts while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate lathe machines to machine and repair automobile components
- Perform welding work (arc, gas, MIG, or TIG as required) on vehicle parts Measure, cut, shape, and join metal components as per specifications Read job cards, drawings, and technical instructions
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Maintain tools, machines, and welding equipment in good condition
- Follow safety rules and use protective equipment at all times
- Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient use of resources
- Coordinate with supervisors and workshop staff to complete jobs on time
