Job Role :  Lecturer in a Pharmacy Institute is responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. The role involves preparing and delivering lectures, guiding practical laboratory sessions, mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to curriculum development. The Lecturer ensures students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the pharmacy profession.

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Prepare and deliver lectures in pharmacy subjects (pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, etc.)
  • Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions and practical demonstrations
  • Develop course materials, teaching plans, and assessment methods
  • Mentor and guide students in academic and research projects
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, and exams
  • Stay updated with current developments in pharmacy and related research
  • Participate in curriculum development and academic committees
  • Guide students in internships, industrial training, and professional development
  • Conduct or assist in research projects and publish findings
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures for students
  • Maintain accurate academic records and documentation
  • Promote a professional and ethical learning environment
