Job Role :  Legal Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to attorneys and legal teams, ensuring the efficient operation of legal offices. This role involves managing documents, coordinating schedules, conducting basic legal research, and maintaining confidential records.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Prepare, draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports
  • File legal documents with courts and government agencies (electronically and in person)
  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, and appointments
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files Conduct basic legal research and gather case-related information
  • Communicate with clients, courts, vendors, and opposing counsel professionally
  • Track billable hours, assist with invoicing, and manage expense records
  • Ensure compliance with court rules, filing deadlines, and legal procedures
  • Answer phones, manage emails, and handle general administrative duties
