Mechanic
Job Role : Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of tractors and agricultural machinery in the showroom or service center. The role ensures that all equipment is serviced efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of tractors and farm machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in tractors
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure tractors are in optimal working condition
- Assemble, dismantle, and replace tractor components as needed
- Test repaired tractors to ensure proper performance
- Maintain records of all service and repair work
- Assist in installation of accessories and attachments on tractors
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment while working
- Coordinate with the Service Supervisor for work scheduling and reporting
