Job Role :  Mechanical Engineer in an Equipment Manufacturing Company is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. This role involves analyzing technical specifications, creating detailed designs, improving manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and safe equipment. The Mechanical Engineer ensures that equipment meets performance standards, adheres to safety regulations, and fulfills customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for manufacturing equipment
  • Prepare technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications
  • Analyze and improve existing equipment for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Support the prototyping, testing, and commissioning of new equipment
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Review and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows
  • Conduct performance evaluations and stress analysis of equipment
  • Assist in selection of materials, components, and mechanical systems
  • Maintain documentation for designs, modifications, and maintenance procedures
  • Provide technical support to clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for equipment design and production
