Milling Machine Operator
Job Role : Milling Machine Operator is responsible for operating milling machines to produce precision components according to drawings and specifications. The role involves setting up machines, monitoring operations, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate milling machines (CNC or conventional)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and job instructions
- Load raw materials and secure workpieces properly
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments
- Measure and inspect components using measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges)
- Ensure parts meet dimensional and quality requirements
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Identify and report machine faults or quality issues
