Plumbing Engineer
Job Role : Plumbing Engineer in a Real Estate Company is responsible for planning, designing, executing, and supervising plumbing and sanitation systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects. The role ensures that all water supply, drainage, sewage, and firefighting plumbing systems are installed as per approved drawings, technical standards, and local regulations. The Plumbing Engineer works closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective plumbing solutions from design stage through project completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and review plumbing layouts, riser diagrams, and system calculations
- Supervise site execution of plumbing works and ensure quality standards
- Coordinate with plumbing contractors, consultants, and other engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety norms, and regulations
- Monitor project timelines related to plumbing activities
- Inspect installations for water supply, drainage, sewage, and rainwater systems
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of plumbing systems
- Review material specifications and approve plumbing fixtures and equipment
- Identify and resolve design conflicts and site-related plumbing issues
- Support water conservation and sustainability initiatives
- Prepare BOQs, technical reports, and as-built drawings
- Assist in maintenance planning and defect liability period activities
