Job Role : Primary Teacher in an English medium school is responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in core subjects while fostering students’ academic, social, and emotional development. The teacher creates a positive and inclusive classroom environment where young learners build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking. They plan lessons aligned with the school curriculum, assess student progress, communicate with parents, and encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence in students. 

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons following the school curriculum.
  • Teach core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies in English.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and instructional materials.
  • Assess and monitor students’ academic progress regularly.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive discipline strategies.
  • Provide individual attention and support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings and provide progress reports.
  • Organize and participate in school events, activities, and co-curricular programs.
  • Maintain accurate student records and attendance.
