Production Manager
Job Role : Production Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling manufacturing operations for tractor trolleys and agricultural implements. The role ensures efficient production, consistent product quality, cost control, and adherence to safety standards while meeting delivery schedules and organizational goals. The Production Manager leads shop-floor teams and coordinates with quality, engineering, procurement, and logistics departments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, and manage daily production operations
- Ensure achievement of production targets in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines
- Optimize use of manpower, machinery, and materials
- Supervise fabrication, welding, machining, painting, and assembly processes
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance
- Enforce workplace safety standards and best manufacturing practices
- Coordinate with procurement for raw material availability
- Prepare production reports, MIS, and performance reviews
