Production Supervisor
Job Role : Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates all activities on the production floor to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of high carbon steel wires. This role involves supervising production teams, monitoring workflows, enforcing quality standards, and ensuring that production targets are met on time. The Production Supervisor acts as a bridge between management and the workforce, providing guidance, solving operational issues, and implementing process improvements to optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise day-to-day production activities to meet planned targets and deadlines.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Plan and allocate workforce effectively to optimize productivity.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols on the shop floor.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff performance.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Communicate production schedules, updates, and challenges with management.
