Professor (General Management)
Job Role : Professor of General Management is responsible for leading academic instruction, research, and curriculum development in the area of management studies at the postgraduate level. The role involves teaching core management subjects such as Principles of Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Strategy, and Leadership, while guiding research scholars and mentoring faculty members. The Professor contributes to institutional development through academic leadership, research publications, consultancy, accreditation activities, and industry collaboration, ensuring high standards of teaching excellence and scholarly output.
Key Responsibilities :
- Teach General Management subjects in MBA and related postgraduate programs.
- Develop and update curriculum in alignment with industry and academic standards.
- Conduct advanced research and publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide Ph.D. scholars and supervise doctoral research work.
- Lead academic planning and departmental development initiatives.
- Mentor Assistant and Associate Professors in teaching and research.
- Participate in accreditation, NAAC/NBA documentation, and quality assurance processes.
- Organize seminars, conferences, and faculty development programs.
- Build industry partnerships for research, consultancy, and student exposure.
- Serve on academic councils, boards of studies, and institutional committees.
- Evaluate student dissertations, viva voce, and comprehensive examinations.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making at the institutional level.
