Project Coordinator (Civil)

Job Role :  Project Coordinator (Civil) is responsible for coordinating and supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil construction and infrastructure projects undertaken by the Educational Trust. The role involves close coordination with management, architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure projects such as academic buildings, hostels, laboratories, and campus facilities are completed on time, within approved budgets, and as per quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Coordinate and support planning, scheduling, and execution of civil construction projects for the Educational Trust.
  • Monitor daily site activities to ensure work is progressing as per schedule.
  • Ensure construction work complies with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, site records, contracts, permits, and approvals.
  • Assist in preparation and review of cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and project budgets.
  • Track project expenditures and assist in implementing cost control measures.
  • Review contractor bills, measurements, and submissions for accuracy before approval.
  • Identify and resolve construction issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to minimize disruptions to academic and campus activities.
  • Facilitate inspections by authorities and ensure closure of compliance requirements.
  • Support project handover, ensure completion of punch-list items, and document final deliverables.

Attention to detail in documentation and reporting. Ability to manage project budgets and assist in cost control. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
