Purchase Assistant
Job Role : Purchase Assistant is responsible for assisting the procurement team in sourcing suppliers, preparing and managing purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, maintaining accurate records of purchases and inventory, and supporting cost control and vendor relationship management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers for goods and services
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and inventory
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and order confirmation
- Track shipments, delivery schedules, and inventory levels
- Support cost analysis and procurement reports
- Communicate with internal departments to fulfill purchase requirements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- Assist in vendor evaluation and maintaining vendor relationships
