Quarry Supervisor
Job Role : Quarry Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a quarry site, ensuring efficient extraction of materials while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards. The role involves supervising quarry staff, coordinating machinery operations, managing production targets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise daily quarry operations including drilling, blasting, loading, and transportation of materials.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements.
Monitor production output to meet quality and quantity targets.
Manage and schedule quarry staff, operators, and contractors for efficient operations.
Inspect equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and timely maintenance.
Coordinate with geologists, engineers, and quality control teams for material sampling and testing.
Maintain daily production reports, inventory records, and operational documentation.
Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest improvements for productivity and safety.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of extracted materials.
Support management in planning quarry expansion or new extraction areas.
