Job Role :  Receptionist in an automobile showroom is the first point of contact for customers and visitors, responsible for creating a positive and professional impression of the company. The role involves greeting customers, managing inquiries, directing visitors to the appropriate departments, handling phone calls, maintaining appointment schedules, and supporting basic administrative tasks .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet and welcome customers and visitors professionally
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Maintain visitor records and inquiry registers
  • Schedule appointments for sales and service departments
  • Coordinate customer walk-ins with sales executives
  • Handle basic customer inquiries about products and services
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception area
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
  • Assist in preparing basic reports and documentation
  • Support back-office administrative tasks when required
  • Follow up on customer inquiries as assigned
  • Maintain showroom hospitality standards
  • Handle customer complaints politely and escalate when necessary
  • Maintain contact database and update CRM records
  • Ensure proper communication between departments
