Job Role : Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk operations and serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role involves greeting patients, handling appointments, maintaining records, and providing administrative support while ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities :   

  • Greet patients, attendants, and visitors courteously
  • Register patients and maintain accurate personal and medical records
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage doctor appointments
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Guide patients to the appropriate departments or doctors
  • Coordinate with nursing staff, doctors, and billing departments
  • Handle admission and discharge documentation
  • Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization
  • Manage patient files, forms, and reports
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and data privacy
