Receptionist

Job Role : Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth customer service within the diagnostic centre. The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a patient-friendly approach. 

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and assist them with registration and check-in.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for diagnostic tests.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding services, reports, and procedures.
  • Maintain patient records, update information, and ensure data accuracy in the system.
  • Collect payments, issue receipts, and manage billing-related tasks.
  • Coordinate with lab technicians, radiologists, and medical staff for patient flow and test readiness.
  • Guide patients regarding preparation for diagnostic tests when required.
  • Handle report distribution—hard copies, digital uploads, or pick-ups. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  • Address patient concerns or escalate issues to the appropriate department.
