Recovery Officer
Job Role : Recovery Officer is responsible for recovering overdue loans and advances of the cooperative bank by coordinating with borrowers, ensuring compliance with recovery laws, and minimizing non-performing assets while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor overdue loan accounts and prepare recovery action plans
- Follow up with defaulters through visits, notices, and meetings for timely recovery
- Conduct recovery proceedings in accordance with cooperative laws, banking rules, and RBI guidelines
- Coordinate with branch staff, legal advisors, and recovery agencies
- Assist in issuance of demand notices, auction notices, and legal documentation
- Maintain recovery records, reports, and MIS for management review
- Participate in recovery camps, negotiations, and settlement proceedings
- Ensure recovery actions are conducted respectfully and ethically
