Recovery Officer
Job Role : Recovery Officer is responsible for recovering overdue payments and outstanding dues from customers or members in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines. The role involves follow-ups, negotiations, record maintenance, and coordination with internal teams to minimize financial risk and improve cash flow.
Key Responsibilities :
- Follow up with customers or members for recovery of overdue loans, EMIs, or payments
- Maintain accurate records of outstanding amounts and recovery status
- Visit defaulters when required and conduct recovery activities professionally
- Negotiate repayment schedules and settlements as per company policy
- Coordinate with branch staff, legal teams, and management regarding recovery cases Issue reminders, notices, and follow-up communications
- Ensure recovery activities comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly recovery reports
- Identify high-risk accounts and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information
