Recovery Officer
Job Role : Recovery Officer is responsible for managing and recovering outstanding payments from clients, ensuring timely collections, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the company’s cash flow and financial health.
Key Responsibilities :
- Follow up with clients to collect outstanding payments on invoices and contracts
- Monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts
- Contact clients via phone, email, or in-person visits for payment recovery
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers, maintaining professionalism
- Maintain accurate records of collections, communications, and follow-ups
- Coordinate with sales, accounts, and management teams to resolve disputes or discrepancies
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports for management
- Escalate serious delays or potential defaults to management promptly
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements regarding collections
