Safety Officer
Job Role : Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment at construction sites by enforcing safety policies, conducting regular inspections, and implementing preventive measures. They monitor compliance with local regulations, train staff on safety practices, and investigate incidents to minimize risks and protect employees and assets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Train employees and contractors on safety protocols and best practices.
- Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
- Recommend corrective actions to eliminate hazards.
- Maintain safety records and report to management on compliance.
