Sales Officer

Job Role :  Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling steel and alloy products, developing new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Generate new business leads and expand the customer base in assigned territories
  • Promote steel/alloy products to industrial, OEM, and trading customers
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned by management
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and handle repeat orders
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize sales orders
  • Follow up on payments, deliveries, and customer feedback
  • Conduct market research to track competitors, pricing, and demand trends
  • Coordinate with production, dispatch, and finance teams for smooth order processing
  • Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales reports
  • Represent the company at client meetings, plant visits, and trade events
