Job Role :   Secondary Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in grades 6–12 (or equivalent), fostering both academic excellence and personal growth. They create engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, encourage critical thinking, and develop students’ knowledge, skills, and values in their subject area.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum
  • Teach core subject(s) to secondary students (grades 6–12)
  • Assess, evaluate, and monitor student performance through tests, assignments, and projects
  • Provide guidance and support to students for academic and personal development
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
  • Integrate innovative teaching methods, technology, and resources into lessons
  • Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and concerns
  • Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs
  • Contribute to school events, co-curricular activities, and extracurricular programs
  • Prepare reports on student performance, attendance, and behavior
  • Support students with special learning needs or additional support where required
  • Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum development and school initiatives
