Security Guard
Job Role : Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the construction site, personnel, materials, and equipment. The role involves monitoring site access, preventing unauthorized entry, safeguarding valuable machinery, and maintaining discipline within the premises. The Security Guard plays a crucial role in minimizing risks, preventing theft or damage, and supporting smooth and secure site operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor entry and exit of workers, visitors, and vehicles
- Ensure only authorized personnel access the site
- Guard construction materials, tools, and heavy machinery
- Conduct regular patrols of the site premises
- Maintain records of visitors and vehicle movements
- Check identity cards and permits at entry points
- Report suspicious activities or security breaches immediately
- Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at the site
- Assist in emergency situations such as fire or accidents
- Coordinate with site management and supervisors
- Maintain discipline and order within the premises
- Monitor CCTV systems if available
- Control movement of materials in and out of the site
- Prepare daily security reports and logs
