Job Role :  Senior Accountant in a Hyundai automobile showroom is responsible for managing and overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the dealership. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory regulations, effective control over receivables and payables, and smooth coordination with auditors, banks, and Hyundai corporate finance teams. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting management decisions through timely financial analysis and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities :  

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations of the showroom
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including customer and vendor reconciliations
• Monitor vehicle sales accounting, billing, and margin analysis
• Ensure accurate accounting of inventory, including vehicles, spare parts, and accessories
• Handle GST compliance, including returns, reconciliations, and audits
• Manage TDS, income tax filings, and other statutory compliances
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
• Oversee bank transactions, cash flow management, and loan reconciliations
• Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review
• Ensure compliance with Hyundai’s financial policies and dealership guidelines
• Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work
