Senior Accountant
Job Role : Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing financial accounting, reporting, and compliance related to construction projects. The role involves handling project-wise accounts, monitoring costs, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating with project and billing teams, and providing accurate financial information to support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain complete books of accounts for construction projects
- Manage project-wise accounting, cost tracking, and expense allocation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and project profitability
- Verify contractor bills, supplier invoices, and expense vouchers
- Coordinate with billing, site, and project teams for financial data
- Handle statutory compliances such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax
- Prepare and file GST returns and reconcile GST data
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
- Support internal and external audits and provide required documents
- Maintain payroll accounting and salary processing
- Assist management in financial planning and cost control
